What does this feedback tool do
The service that AuctionPixie offers allows its members to automatically return feedback comments that they've been left, automate and leave 'reply to feedback' comments, and receive an array of notifications with regards to feedback related issues, such as non-positive notifications.
Is the automatic feedback service free
Presently the service is free; previously there was a small fee for this service - it is currently undecided if this charge will be re-implemented again.
When would feedback be left for my buyers
Feedback is left instantly and automatically. When an eBay member leaves a feedback comment on your account we receive a notification from eBay, this then allows us to automatically response to this feedback using one of your stored comments.
In what order are my stored comments left
The feedback comments that you have stored in your AuctionPixie account are left for your buyers in a totally random fashion - the more comments that you have stored the more random and unique your comments will appear.
Will I be able to automate comments already left
Due to the nature of AuctionPixie, we are only able to handle feedback comments that you receive after you have joined AuctionPixie and turned this feature on; we do not receive notifications for comments that have already been left and thus are unable to automate them.
Can I automate my feedback if I am the buyer
Previously we offered this as an option, however the vast majority of our members (if not all) have been sellers and have used this service from a sellers perspective. Due to this, we no longer offer the option to handle feedback from a buyer's point of view.
Can I automatically leave non-positive feedback comments
Although at times this may be a tempting option the answer is no, it is actually against eBay's API (Application Programming Interface) guidelines; it is also un-ethical to do this - disputes or problems that may arise during a transaction should ideally be resolved by discussing the problem with your trading partner, neutral or negative feedback should always be a last resort.
How many comments I can store
We currently allow members to store up to 10 feedback comments per eBay account that you add to AuctionPixie; we have found that this is usually adequate for the majority of people.
Can I include item specific infomation in my comments
Sure you can, the way that we achieve this is by using template tags. Template tags are used to dynamically insert text which is unique to that feedback comment or transaction, such as the buyer’s eBay ID or the item's title. Using template tags in your stored comments can turn a very static comment into a very dynamic and personal comment, such as in the following example:
'Great buyer, I would recommend %BuyerID% to everyone.'
The %BuyerID% text would automatically be replaced with the buyer’s eBay ID and you would then have a very personal and unique feedback comment.
Which template tags are available
At present the following template tags are available. When using these any of these template tags they must be entered as seen bellow, this is to say that they must include the surrounding percent signs and be in the same case.
To get the item number of the listing that you are leaving feedback for, use %ItemID%.
To get the title of the listing that you are leaving feedback for, use %ItemTitle%.
To get the price of the item that you are leaving feedback for, use %ItemPrice%.
To get the eBay ID of the member whom you are leaving feedback for, use %BuyerID%.
To get the total number of unique feedback comments that you have received, use %MyFeedbackTotal%.
To get the total number of feedback comments that you have received, unique or not, use %MyFeedbackScore%.
Can I use multiple template tags per comment
Sure, you can use as many template tags in a comment as you like, or will fit.
