What is a RSS feed
a RSS (really simple syndication) feed basically allows people to share information all over the internet in a standardized way. RSS feeds are an easy way to keep up with and/or share current and changing information, or if your the owner of the information, provide it for others to view. More information can be found on the Wikipedia Encyclopedia web site.
Why would I want to subscribe to a RSS feed
Well, its an easy way to access your data, for example - you could add your 'items I'm watching' RSS feed to the Windows Vista RSS sidebar gadget and display your this list on your desktop; using your feed in such a manor will save you from continually having to log in to eBay just to check the status of the items on your 'watch' list - it'll be right there and readily available on your desktop.
Another example would be if you run a website or blog and want to show other people the items that you are bidding on or watching - the possibilities for what you can do are really endless.
