What is a RSS feed

a RSS (really simple syndication) feed basically allows people to share information all over the internet in a standardized way. RSS feeds are an easy way to keep up with and/or share current and changing information, or if your the owner of the information, provide it for others to view. Why would I want to subscribe to a RSS feed

Well, its an easy way to access your data, for example - you could add your 'items I'm watching' RSS feed to the Windows Vista RSS sidebar gadget and display your this list on your desktop; using your feed in such a manor will save you from continually having to log in to eBay just to check the status of the items on your 'watch' list - it'll be right there and readily available on your desktop.
